The Golfo Paradiso is about 30
minutes away from the centre of Genoa and is easily reachable with the motorway and by train or through
the Via Aurelia (Aurelia Road) which allows to discover, curve after curve, this incredible natural landscape.
Departing from Genoa, the first place to come across with is Nervi known for its flowery parks and for
the magnificent villas. After reaching Bogliasco, a welcoming medieval village surrounded by the Mediterranean
scrub, the next stop is the picturesque Sori. This village is characterised by the fresco paintings on the house
façades and for the sheer cliffs overlooking the sea. Going forwards the small bay of Recco,
famous for the great cheese focaccia and the traditional bell manufacture can be encountered.
At last, following the coast, you can visit Camogli, a fascinating maritime village where the very high houses,
painted in pink, green and yellow are reflected on the waters of the small safe and useful port. |
