50° Festival of "Lumaga"

Back the event in Lerici on the festival of "Lumaghe"

At the Serra of Lerici there will be this year the 50th edition of the Snail Festival, which brings to the table the famous "Lumaghe" in moist "alla serrese" and other fish dishes.

The festival develops on the terrace of the Circolo Arci of La Serra, from which you can appreciate the beautiful panorama overlooking Lerici and the Gulf of poets.

This is the oldest festival in the province of La Spezia and every year draws hundreds of people and tourists from neighboring regions.

The festival is held on the occasion of the celebrations of St. John and the festival of the snail has become over time a tradition almost indispensable for many people, surely it was already for a long time for the inhabitants of the place.

The evenings will be accompanied by banquets of local products, music and dances throughout the evening.
