Punta Corvo: A destination not to be neglected

Breathtaking landscapes in the regional natural Park of Montemarcello-Magra

You will have to visit at least once one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Montemarcello!
It is a small town in the municipality of Ameglia, perched on the top of Mount Capriva, whose territory is part of the regional Natural Park of Montemarcello-Magra.
Surely then you can not miss the beautiful path that from Montemarcello leads to the beach of Punta Corvo...la Vista in fact it is truly breathtaking!
Left the car at the parking lot that, just before the village, find on the road that from Bocca di Magra leads to Montemarcello, just head towards the centre and take the road signposted with the 3d sign that enters a suggestive path: we are in fact facing 266 meters of difference between the center of Montemarcello and the sea level!
The journey time is about thirty minutes with a gait not too sustained and overall also quite smooth.
At first you walk through the alleys of the houses, then you enter the Mediterranean bush where the slope is certainly greater. Over 700 steps (pay attention to where you put your feet) built with wood, stones and carved from the ground, separate from the large beach of dark sand beaten by the raging waves of the Ligurian sea.
The path on the way is, as I said earlier, for the most smooth; On the way back, since it's uphill, the fatigue gets more sentire...ma I assure you it's worth it!
In summer you can also get there by using another means, the ferry: if the sea conditions allow it from Bocca di Magra, Lerici and Tellaro of the boats depart daily and stop in front of the beach.
At the beach you will open in front of your eyes the spectacle of a sea with a turquoise color that breaks forcefully on the shoreline, while in the distance you will see the islands of Portovenere (Tino, Tinetto and Palmaria) on the right side and a flap of Alta Versilia on the left.
So that I can tell you not to give up, Punta Corvo will not disappoint you!
