Christmas Concert of the lyrical choir of La Spezia

The Lyrical Choir of La Spezia, which in recent years has committed itself to make young people love  the opera by involving the students of the local schools in the opera project, has the aim of spreading the knowledge of the lyrical Opera which was at the beginning of the 20th century a strong point of the culture of the city of La Spezia. The La Spezia Choir ,that strongly identifies itself with the city, has produced and staged thirteen works, including La Traviata, Suor Angelica, Madama Butterfly, Bohème, Elisir d'Amore, Tosca, Nabucco, Rigoletto , Cavalleria Rusticana, Rita, at the Teatro Civico della Spezia next May 18th, 2019 with the direction of Renato Bonajuto will stage "La Traviata" with which we debuted in 2013. During these Christmas concerts we will be accompanied by pianist Miky Kitaya, born in Osaka, graduated in singing at the Tokyo Music University. Graduated in singing and piano at the Conservatorio spezzino. He has participated in several Master Classes as a solo pianist and has accompanied all the Works we have done when performed with piano accompaniment. In the program of the three concerts organized by the City for these holidays that close 2018 in addition to the traditional Christmas songs with which we joyfully embrace the whole city, pieces by the composers G.
