On 26 January, the double inauguration of two art exhibitions at the CAMeC in La Spezia is launched.

La Prima Poetry and Pottery (The first Poetry and pottery)
Un’inedita avventura fra ceramica e poesia visiva (An unprecedented adventure between ceramics and visual poetry)

The CAMeC Centro presents the first Italian exhibition of visual poetry on ceramics with works of the major authors of the field.
It is a research project that brings together this particular type of work, certainly the most rare in the field of visual poetry, counting a few hundred specimens in the world. An unprecedented project, representative of the artistic production on ceramic substrate of about thirty poets verb-visual.

The exhibition interprets with originality the latest trend of international photography, the wonderful universe of anonymous photography. A selection of more than 250 images, from the end of the nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century, from Europe to America, from Indochina to Japan, with which the photographers-sailors, armed with the first snapshot cameras produced by Kodak and AGFA, have documented with Freshness and sincerity every moment of their lives.
It is one of the very first exhibitions of this kind in Italy. And it was not by chance that the CAMeC of La Spezia was chosen. The theme is storming in fact to the history of the city, home of the maritime Arsenal and naval Base of the Italian navy.
