Macbeth at Civic Theatre

On Tuesday 28th of February and on Wednesday 1ft of March at 20.45 at the Teatro Civico La Spezia is staged the show MACBETH by William Shakespeare with Franco Branciaroli and Valentina Violo and directed by Franco Branciaroli.

In the outside world of Macbeth features like cruelty and thirst for blood, like courage, they are considered virtues, because preserving the inner world, which is a patriarchal society civilized and governed by divine laws. The violence that is applied externally does not apply to the inside, otherwise everything jumps and between the inside and the outside there is no difference, everything becomes war. Macbeth, however, at some point choose to bring domestic violence and to this is added the fact that the Lady, her feminine side, it distorts and takes male characteristics: then it was absolute chaos. Macbeth is "seduced" by witches ambition, which historically represent the threat to the patriarchal world, and led to the murder of his wife, who abuses the social role of women acting as would a man. The chaos generated by women who are men (or by a perverse female nature) only a woman's "unborn" can end. But the drama is even more complex and awesome: Macbeth, killing the king, a symbol of the father and the divine, he kills his own humanity and enters a dimension of loneliness where he loses everything, love, right, sleep, purpose of living. In addition, his victory is sterile because she has no heirs, and this renunciation of his humanity will only pass the throne to the son of another. Macbeth is the tragedy of human evil, the violation of moral and natural laws. Around the disturbing parable of soul seduction to evil beats the enigmatic heart of this tragedy.
