One of the most characteristic nativity scenes in the world
Since 2007, Mario Andreoli's project illuminates the hill of Manarola with its illuminated crib with 300 silhouettes of peasants and shepherds, illuminated by 17,000 light bulbs and 7 km of electric cable, which reach the top of the vineyards where the hut with the comet star is located.
The spirit with which the project was conceived by the retired railwayman was to create a small big gathering opportunity for the country, which has now become the largest representationof the nativity in the world .
The inauguration takes place on December 8th (not in case of bad weather) and is held until the end of January. Do not miss the most awaited Christmas event in the area!
