Festival of the mussels in Lerici

Every year Mytiliade brings good taste in the beautiful setting of Lerici. The mussels, the fruit of the sea that in Liguria we call muscles, are the protagonist of this festival. In the Gulf of poets, according to ancient tradition, are cultivated the most tasty mussels of the Mediterranean and is held the festival dedicated to the maritime culture of culinary delights, laboratories, show-cooking and musical and cultural performances.

Of great interest are the guided tours by boat to the mussel plants, thanks to which visitors can surf the Gulf of poets for free. There will be moments of fun as the opening race of muscles: Vince who opens more in the shortest time possible.
