San Venerio's celebration

On this occasion, the island of Tino, owned by the Italian Navy, can be visited by the public. There you can visit the ancient abbey of San Venerio dating back to the eleventh century. Moreover, in the evening it is possible to see a very suggestive scenery, with the village of Portovenere illuminated by many small colored lights at the windows and in the promenade, there to pay homage to the statue of the saint to the island itself.
