The understanding between the historical tradition and the excellence of the local ingredients is symbolised by dishes such as gnocchi with chestnut flour in walnut sauce, the pappardelle with pesto with potatoes and green beans, stewed rabbit with olives and pine nuts, white and red wines from the Val di Vara, the Vermentino doc of the Colli di Luni and sweets typical of the area like the cake with sciacchetrà , a prestigious Passito wine of the Cinque Terre.
