Floral display in Brugnato

In the village of Brugnato, where about 1000 people live, we could state that almost all of them work for this event coloring the town with streets adorned with floral designs throughout the town.
The work begins several days before, when the inhabitants begin to gather the necessary flowers and draw the proofs of what they will represent.
The day of the "infiorata" the whole town is dressed up with taverns and restaurants creating special menus for the occasion, kids workshops and a street market with food and crafts. Arriving early in the morning, from about 8.00 am, you will already find people working on the decorations and this special atmosphere lasts until late at night, around 10.00 pm.
At 9.00 pm, after the solemn vespers, the procession is held along the path of the flowers.
