History of Ligurian food and music in Lerici

Discovering the traditional Ligurian dishes accompanied by the music

The traditions of Ligurian cuisine base their roots in good taste and cheap meal, just think of pesto, a seasoning among the most appreciated all over the world, made with raw materials such as basil, whose plants grow luxuriant in the Ligurian territory.

While only Genoa was appreciated for good food, from ' 700 onwards the whole Ligurian cuisine developed, first with the appearance of the tomato, then with the famous invention of the flour and to finish also with the tripe "Alla Genovese", different from that of the other regions for lightness.

There are many typical Ligurian dishes that have a history, each one of them and that today are on the table of all Italians.

Friday 7 July 2017 from 20.30(8.30pm) to 23.30(11.30pm) in Lerici, at the restaurant da Paolino, in via Gerii 50, at the cost of €30.00, there will be the possibility to savour the dishes that most have characterized the history of Ligurian cuisine, with this dinner, accompanied by a musical program, all included in the price, with compulsory reservation.

At the end of the dinner there will be the tasting of wines, grappas and of the "Brown", the Pandolce break based on chestnut flour.
