LA PASSEGGIATA MORIN

Among all the opportunities that the Gulf offers to the visitors, sometimes the most hidden cortnes or the most simple ones may reserve the best surprises. 
Among those, there is the "Passeggiata Morin". To the local people who was born and has grown up in La Spezia, the "Passeggiata Morin" is perhaps one of the city's status symbol. 
The granfathers bring their nephews along the sea, every sunday - after the good sunday roast - families meet on the promenade and run after the kids while they're trying to look for some fish in the water, couples walk hand in hand till the red lighthouse - guardian of thousands of secret kisses. 
The cannons looking at the horizon let our imagination run away on our city hisotry, the tugboats by the marina intrigue us and the fishing vessels make attract whit the fishing men stories, men of the sea.
Is there something better than a walking lulled by the sun along the Passeggiata Morin?  
The best period to see the Passeggiata is perhaps the first Agusut Sunday when it leads the "Palio del Golfo": the most famous festival that involves all the locals frmo the sea villages, from Lerici to Portovenere in a till the final breath rowing competition.
