The Anchovy festival combines the beauty and the Sea of the Cinque Terre with the goodness of the anchovies of Monterosso. The last summer dives have another taste thanks to the festival, the events and the stalls.
For all lovers of Ligurian goodness the feast of the anchovy is an unmissable event, the salted anchovy of Monterosso al Mare, Splendid Pearl of the Cinque Terre, also known as Pan do Ma (the Bread of the sea) is a typical Ligurian dish and is excellent topped with oil, garlic and a pinch of oregano.
