Osteria da Bartali is a small, newly-born restaurant located in the historic center of La Spezia. The atmosphere of the local, warm and welcoming, reminds of the Provençal style. The owner Roberto Dal Forno after several years of experience as a collaborator in the field of catering has finally succeeded in realizing his dream creating precisely this small and welcoming local where the customer can enjoy the product of a genuine cuisine that uses only fresh seasonal products (like fresh fish).
Alternatively, a small meat menu or a vegetarian menu is offered. The à la carte menu is renewed every month. At lunchtime you can find a daily menu at a fixed price with fresh local produce. All dishes are personally prepared by the same owner, Roberto Dal Forno.
In the characteristic restaurant Osteria da Bartali are served only dishes with fresh and possibly local ingredients. We try to respect in all the specialties the tradition of La Spezia and Ligure. It starts with a good choice of appetizers mainly of sea but also with other alternative tastes for those who do not like fish. As a first we recommend risottos, like risotto with cicada or risotto with moorhen. In the second they are to taste the curl in damp and also the puffs of rhombus. Our fruit salads are really special and with legitimate pride we can guarantee that all sweets are prepared by us.
