If you ever happened to cross the gym in the green (Telegraph path-Campiglia), walking along the stretch for Schiara and Monesteroli, you will surely notice a great boulder: I'm talking about the Menhir of Schiara, also known for his sinister legends that accompany him, Boulder of the devil.

Many legends have been handed down since ancient times, but perhaps the most fascinating, which is the official one, is that of the devil.

This tells that one night a group of Wayfarers, tired of the way, decided to stop and ignite a fire near the big stone in order to shelter from the cold.

Suddenly, however, the wind began to rise, ever stronger, more and more strong...but the last breath was the fatal one! The fire was extinguished definitively, the group found itself in full darkness with the beating of the heart to a thousand! But it was not yet over: as they tried in vain to rekindle the fire, they found themselves in front of a monstrous creature, terrifying, the devil!

Legend has it that the poor group had been banished from the same Lucifer because they had invaded his dwelling.
