The most peaceful places for a nap in the Cinque Terre area

Points of Cinque Terre that you didn't know where you can take a rest on the nature.

Hiking, walks and tours. Biking, kayaking and diving. Tastings and sciacchetrà.
Fall drowsy post-lunch and improvissa fatigue is all too easy, and - let's face it - your space always seems too far away!
Fortunately, through the eyes of a local, now you will learn about the best hotspots for a nap in the shade.
Here are our favorites:

1. Il Piccolo Blu
Halfway between Portovenere and Riomaggiore, in a beautiful meadow in piccosulmare, the Campiglia refreshment offers six hammocks to rest and start loads at a time of new explorations.
The area is a fully equipped picnic area, you can not just rest in the shade of the surrounding trees but also refresh themselves with good food!

2. The Sanctuary of Montenero
Towering above Riomaggiore, the sanctuary, although sacred place, is surrounded by an immense and fresh pine forest looking at the horizon.
If you are lucky enough you will find free hammock or, for the more intrepid, a nice bench sea view.
It has only the view to completely regenerate!

3. The Pinewood at Pozzale
The southern side of the island Palmaria, looking proud Isola del Tino, hosts another wonderful pine forest.
Perhaps after an excursion of the island, with ups and downs, a nap is just what we want! Fortunately there is the pine forest!
This, to differences of the mentioned previous, is not equipped area. You have to make room in a few pebbles and lie down with your towel and maybe a backpack under the neck.
But listen here: try to see what it feels like after a bath, falling asleep to the sound of cicadas. Absolutely priceless!

4. La Palestra nel Verde
You will think it is a contradiction: we want to rest, do not exercise!
But the true natives know that the Palestra nel Verde at Monte Parodi - reachable from La Spezia - home to little secrets corners immersed in the woods where sometimes you can see someone have dozed off.
Between the benches for the abdominals and the backs of the lats, there are here and there benches and wooden steps that attract walkers tired.
Our favorite area remains the pinewood-catering - a few hundred meters from the resort "Il telegrafo". Served and revered, we rest it is a pleasure!

5. The Grotta Byron
We are in Portovenere, just below St Peter's beautiful church.
If you are lucky enough to find a small space to lay your towel, there's no better place to rest.
Lulled by the waves, and light sea breeze - especially in September - silence. The peace of mind.
