Closing event of the concerts in Lerici

Located in the surroundings of the Gulf of Poets, the village of Lerici and Cinque Terre have over the years inspired poets and composers including Shelley, Byron Lawrence and Wagner.

The conductor Gianluca Marcianò launches this new festival of music and poetry in his hometown, with music and poems inspired by the sea and the many aritsti that have been attracted by this magnificent gulf.

The festival will also offer a summer residence for musicians selected by the orchestra excellence, a project created by MacDonald and the Violaist Maxim Novikov to launch young emerging musicians.

With a series of concerts situtai in magnificent places, such as Venus Azzurra-Lerici, San Terenzo and Tellaro, sounds from the Gulf will be a real tribute to those who have been inspired by this beautiful place of the sea.

The closing concert will see Marcianò to direct the orchestra excellence on a floating platform near the shore of the beach of Venus Azzurra.
